Tim, so was the tubing copper or steel?
I see the MK III used bicycle type wheels and the MK IV used welded up spoked wheels.

OK I have found an owner of one here in UK who tells me it's definitely steel tube. I gather his has the wrong wheels fitted, but I'll post pictures when he sends me some. Ron

I did some more scaling and the steel tubing is 1".
The MK IV was built closer to the ground with bigger wheels and wider tires. The MK III must have sank into the sand too much and been too top heavy. In the period pictures they have a crew of five carrying it to shore.

Nice photos Alan!
In response to an early comment reference Operation RUTTER/JUBILEE and the use of baby carriages for the Dieppe raid. Based on photos recently found, it appears those were based on "Barrows Drum WD" and not a specially designed cart.
