I have the 160 Pound Tent from Anchor Sales. Some of our club members have brought down a smaller version that is the same height and width, but half the length so I would call it an '80 PoundTent".
Asked where they got them and it has been "one-off" finds. Does anyone on the list know the official designation for these? Better yet, does anyone have a source for one for sale? I can make the wood poles using my 160 wood as a pattern, so shipping would not be an onerous chore to get just the canvas. These come as two pieces - the wall tent itself, and a fly that goes over the top. If you have one, you know what I am talking about. Color is brown or green and the fly doesn't need to match the tent in colour or date. Any leads?? |

Yep, 80 pounders. They were given away from the base here back in the late 90s, mostly in the green colour and of 1960s manufacture. I likely have one or two buried in the canvas shed out back, but can't be sure.

Now if you might want to sell one (or two) come the spring thaw.... All the best, Jim |
