Ouch. That hurts! Neil, original War time chore horses, or also BSA post-war units? I don't think you can call them rare, but some parts seem harder to find, like mufflers and carrying frames, exhaust tubes/hoses.
Any Canadian spare parts boxes?

Still a shame to see them end up in the skip.
