That is sad news. I received an email this morning from Keith Harrington about the change. It was a fun place to volunteer at and certainly did fill a gap in teaching the public about our military heritage.

Maybe for the time being it's a return to the roots of the traveling road show that Grant started. There's also an election coming up, time to hit the MPs (not the red hats).

Hmm? What will you do with the collection? I'd put that question to the mayor and councilor who chose revenue over heritage.

Few Items more recently acquire belong to the Museum, our mission always was private ownership. different individuals set up their own displays or group efforts. Some things are on lone from the storage areas of other museums.
