sounds like an interesting project.this is a US vehicle so all the fittings/ nuts bolts etc/ should be pretty standard. If you do not have a manual you should get a repro as quick as you can. there are many us dealers but Portrayal Press used to print all kinds of US military manuals for a reasonable price.
I think they are still in business.
Any chance you could post a picture or two??? Bob
