Great project, it's sad to see how it was wrecked, but Still a great truck to complete! Is there any chance to find the roof, doors or other parts?
Good luck!
Frankie

Hello
thank you frankie

I think the doors and the roof will be impossible to find (in europe) But they are not very difficult do built , the body is made of square tubes, but its many hours job.

Im just begining to clean the truck, and then I hope I will find a member which can give me some dimentions.

regards
Sylvain

Dont give up hope completely on finding the parts (doors etc.) if the body are the same as on a Chevy, odd things can be found in Norway.

Just let us know what dimensions you need, I can take measurements of my rebuild and my unrestored CGT cab 12's and I know that there are other very helpful gun tractor owners on here.

cheers Niels

Hi,

I thought the original ones cut from your truck.... I know about few cab 12 FGTs, I PM you details...
I need few dimensions for a FGT, too, but cab 13... http://www.mapleleafup.net/forums/sh...ad.php?t=23280

I might get time in the weekend, so I could measure mine.
both mine have a tube cross about 0.5 inch in diameter.
I might have found a nose in Norway

What do you think about the rear body and the boxes
All the rear body looks very homemade, bad weldings, different size of steel...
Is this rear body and boxes original or was it badly restaured?

Regards
Sylvain
