Slowly progressing, few parts refurbished (mainly steering and linkages). I had to totally rebuild also clutch plate, even it was "professionaly rebuilded" by some US company quite time ago and never used since. One lever had a massive dead play, because bushings were just weared out crap. No needle rollers there, just bronze bushings, which is quite common on rebuilded clutches I think.
Engine is almost ready, but need new starter motor armature - unfortunately mine has short circuit to the shaft :-(

Finally got the set of "rifle rests" over the top of the armour. It's a sort of "simple shape" but difficult-to-make parts. Very happy with the result

Petr, on your pressure plate (in a photo in previous post) you have "29.6"
Is that the finger height? if so, was it set on a particular spacer thickness?

How did you roll the rests? What sort of machine?

Hi Lynn, "29.6" is just my reference value from some accessible surface of the clutch disc, in fact, it doesn't mean nothing specific to the flatheads. I set all three fingers to this height, should be OK, but haven't tested it yet.

Believe me or not, none special tooling or machines been used for making the rests. Only very skillful craftsman and good idea
If needed, I think some more could be done
