Default Here's a couple of mine

First is a 'Wheat Lamp'. It is a miner's lamp used in the Fox. The lamp is on the left attached to a trickle charger and the battery is on the right. It seems the old brass miner's lamps are available as are the modern LED ones but nobody thought to save any of these from the 1940's. I've been after once since I first got my Fox and was successful only last month.

Second is the wireless table, battery trays and seat bases for my HUW. I can't imagine there are any originals to be had so these are my reproductions as accurately as I can make them based on drawings from UK friends.

Rob, I'm also in the market for one of those HUW fuse boxes and, like the rest of the HUW interior, I'm not confident I will ever find one. I do have accurate drawings and will be making one up. If you are interested I can send you a copy.

Default Cab 12 windscreen bag

Found a cab 12 windscreen cover at a swap meet not knowing what it was, I bought it for the buckles only to discover it fitted a cab 12 windscreen.
Never seen another.

Default Careful you......

.... we will not let you back in to get parts....!!!!

Never seen such a device..... we get so little sun here we would never use it.... Only the Australian would cut out the roof section...ie Sun roof.... then add a canvas on the windshield for shade......

There must be a Canadian equivalent made of beaver pelts to keep the windshield from icing up.

Cheers

That windshield cover would be to keep aircraft from spotting the suns reflected glare. Remember cabs 11 & 12 windshields slanted back.
My Cletrac had the same thing.

Default Response to Mike Kelly.....

I have seen one very used up for over that $180...... I eventually bought a whole rolling chassis primarily for that again for more than the NOS.....

Any web site we might look at for the NOS ones????

I rebuilt mine with new bolts sandblasted, etc. but would be hesitant to use the winch at full capacity because of the hardened rubber pucks that provided the joint flexibility. I found similar concept coupler for old american tractors.... joining the output of the engine to the transmission input...... but intended for smaller engines with low (20)HP and low RPM......

A new NOS one, if the rubber is not dried up, would be nice...

Cheers
