I'm looking for tie rod end for my CMP.
Diameters of threads are 1 1/4 " and 2 1/4 " .
They don't have it on Chevy Parts and I couldn't find them on Dirk's page also.
Help appreciated.

Default Not the usual 4x4 CMP......

I do not recognize these as CMP and you will no doubt have to search for civilian models from the 1937 or 1938 to 1940 for similar one ton or 1.5 ton listings.

Are you sure they need replacing ? Early tie rod ends for CMP could be taken apart to inspect for excessive wear........ can yours be disassembled?

Seems that the C15 front axle is almost a full civilian transplant right from the factory.

Good luck.

Jacek,

I bought the Tie rod ends for my C8 from Jim Carter (OldChevytrucks). Just like you I wasn't having much luck searching for a replacement using the part number. In the end I just asked for the diameters of the treads and the TPI and found a match. I bought ME348L and ME348R; suitable for the C8, but I think those for a C15 are heavier.

Edit: maybe ME537R and ME537L would work for the C15?

I'm thinking if I should leave old ones. Play is not so bad.
