Your local engraver did an excellent job with the capacities and shift plate.. I've yet to see a reproduction here which is worth having.

Guys,
Had a great visit with my grandson, Chase from Ft McMurray. We made a trip to Ottawa and the CWM to visit their Lynx and firm up some details and get measurements for various bits and pieces. I certainly appreciate their policy of allowing me access to their Lynx. One disappointment was that their "radiator splash plate" is missing, and no visible method of securing the lower oil cooler brackets. Any help would be appreciated. I am also looking for a good picture of a data plate for a Ford Lynx 11. I do have a good one of the Publication plate. Thanks, Peter IMG_0224 - Copy.jpg IMG_0236.jpg IMG_0243.jpg |

Ours has the splash plate, but there is no way of getting a decent photo without tearing off all the rear armour housing. Afraid I just doesn't have the spare hours right now for it...still playing catch up with a half dozen projects neglected during the spring.
Afraid ours does not have the data plate in the location given in the manual. |

Rob,
Please do not tear things apart on my behalf. You have more than enough on your plate. Thanks for checking out the data plate. Sadly these plates seem to attract sticky fingers. Peter |

Guys,
Trailered the Lynx to the FMVA Bivouac, in Odessa, on Saturday. It was great to see all the green iron and reconnect with folks from the military vehicle community. Th Hammond barn was well represented by Bob Carriere and Grant Bowker. Bob and his C15 competed with public transit to see who could haul the most passengers. It certainly sounded sweet tearing around the circuit. Nice to dream that some day the Lynx will make it to one of these events without the trailer. Peter IMG_0312.jpg IMG_0314.jpg IMG_0315.jpg |

Guys,
Thanks to some great MLU networking, I was introduced to Markus Muellner. This talented individual used a computer, scanner and 3D printer to cut me reproductions of my data and publication plates. Once riveted into place they are indistinguishable from the real thing. Also had the last of the radiator shrouding fabricated and now the oil cooler is properly secured. Small steps but quite rewarding. Peter IMG_0320.jpg IMG_0321.jpg IMG_0323.jpg |

3D printer ? So are your plates made of 3D printed plastic painted silver or what? Very ingenious solution.
