700gal petrol Tankers built here in Oz on Chevrolet 3 ton chassis. Photos from the AWM. They were also built on Ford chassis and maybe, but not sure, other 3 ton chassis as well
first 2 are of a 1/35 scale model I did some years ago

Hi Cliff
Thank you for the photos much appreciated the rear of the tank appears to be flat, where as those built in Britain had a convex rear end. I take it that these were a bulk tanker and therefore not meant to pump themselves and were either gravity discharged or pumped out. Regards Matt
