Haha, might be a good policy David. You and I both have experienced our share of difficult collectors and MV owners to learn from over the years!

Has any one run an eye over the LP2 carrier , what's it like inside ? any motor etc ? amazing that it's been there for that long sitting outside what a shame it was not under cover , has any MLU members try in the past to buy it ?

I was at the Bookham yard a few years ago with the Austin Champ Club, the green Humber in the shed still has the auction number on it and apart from mice and crap is in remarkably good condition. One of the Ferrets is still looking good inside but outside isn't to bad due to the dry air down in the Yass area. No engine in the carrier from memory and I still have photo's somewhere. They wouldn't sell anything then so someone has passed on to the the great big scrap yard, oh well I hope something gets saved.

Can anyone do a more accurate id of the "English or LP1 carrier" and report on what is there of it?
