My armour with the holes is original, but I'd be inclined to drill the first hole and wait till you find a bracket before you drill the rest, otherwise you might be chasing them out with a rats tail file. Ron

Definitely true, Ron, but I think Im going to make replica of the bracket, so not an issue in this case. Thanks for support!

I believe Rod Shaver in Arizona had repro mark2 brackets made sometime in the past. Seems to me I recall seeing them on E-bay a bunch of years back. You may want to check with him.

The MK-II* bracket being different from the MK-I* bracket.

The UC-2 3" mortar carrier built on the mk-I* chassis did not have a 4" smoke discharger bracket.
Note: UC-2 is the 3" mortar carrier model designation for the 3" mortar carrier factory contract, built on the MK-I* hull.

Trivia ... Stitich counting ... Call it what you will. Incurable illness ...
