The army cadet Jeep is a later shot, likely around 1984 by my guess. It has the grill screen, so you know it's after 1976, it has the rollcage mounts, so after 1980, but the real giveaway is the mirrors moved to the fenders, which was a bit later. That method was not ideal on either Jeep fleet, but was especially bad on the M151A2. Between the thin metal and the vibrations of the engine, you really couldn't see anything out of them. Eventually, the two mounting points were developing cracks. We would usually mount a third arm onto the mirror (as any farmer will tell you, 3 points of contact) and that was successfull, albeit an illegal modification.
