I forgot to ask whether the Aussie Ford and Chev fifth-wheel conversions used the same design, and who designed/produced it?
David our early semis like the Ford and the CMPs' have a semi permanent hookup and NOT a fifth wheel as we know it. The later Internationals had the true Fifth wheel fitted

If you look closely at the photos that Keith put up of Max's CMP you will see two upstands and not the one of the fifth wheel. Most semis now have been converted away from this system and it is why I cannot find much info on it.

Hopefully Max will see this plea and enlighten us all .

other then that I am just

cheers
