Very early manual...neat.

Note that they refer to a serial cut-off for the kit you list: serial 1699 seems to be the cut-off. It may well be that the deuces after that number had a slightly different model of airpac, so over time they may have dropped the early kit and early airpacs. There is no reference to it in my 70s manual.

My friend advises it was likely Memphis equipment who had the spring. I'll post the NSN and part numbers for the spring here a little later.

I have edited my previous post regarding the label on the air pack kit I have located.

I f anyone could shed some light on if this is the correct kit for the M135 family of trucks I would appreciate it.

I do know the kits came from a supply of surplus m135/m211 parts here in Canada. They were bought at a DND/ Crown Assests auction.

If you go back to post #8 in this thread, I mention that the old microfiche tells us that it is applicable to the 2-1/2 ton, so yes, it will be for the M135/M211.
