Would these identifiers have been added to the equipment if 736 Sqn was involved in some large exercise/operation with other Communication Squadrons as a means of inventory control, and when it was over, the Squadron never bothered removing them?

Any ideas gratefully received.

David
Militia units were ordered to pool their equipment for summer courses etc. The devious troops kept a mental list of their unit's CFR and identifying features so not to abuse the stuff they'd need over the winter. The Veh Techs like Rob were always busy after the summers.
