WS88 and SCR300 (US made, not British) were used in Korea. Canada also developed it's own version of the PRC10 called PRC510 (RT-5010).

Thanks for the reply Bruce. As you may know, the WS31 is the British copy of the SCR-300-A. My set is in original as produced form. All Mk1's in the UK were modified into the Mk1/1.
Since this set is original and acquired in Canada it was suggested to me that possibly it was used/tested by the Canadian army and then discarded as unsuitable. Ian
