Looks good!
Once you find the lower hull number, upper hull number, engine serial number, along with the WD number, day, month and year of manufacture and serial number on the driver front protection plate .... then compare it with the WD T 202432 number showing on the British NO.2 MK-2 bronze fender plate .... it may show that the Canadian made MK-I* was converted to NO.2 MK. 2 and a specific British fender mounted data plate was attached. Otherwise the data plate and likely the fender is off a different vehicle. You can see the original Ford factory two drive rivets that held the Canadian data plate remain in the protection plate on the divisional wall behind the drivers head, just below the 'FORD' plate. |

Can you buy the tapered wheel bearings all day on eBay, or from assorted USA based auto supply shops?
A quick surf on eBay shows the bearings at various prices. You displayed Timken 3984: that is BB 4221 B, the inner cone and roller bearing. The same bearing is also supplied as Bower 3984. Note this is not the same bearing as the hub outer cone and roller assembly, BB 1240 A, and BB 1239 A (race) . The grease seal is BB 1175 C. This seal is now available at Macs Antique Auto for USD $4.99. Their part number 47-31970-1. It was much higher priced a short time ago. I ordered some of those Mac $4.99 wheel seals, and am happy to say they are proper. I have had other companies try ans supply seals that did not have the protrusion to sling the oil into the oil cone...the Mac's seals are proper.
The hoarder in me ordered 10. |

On some housings, the bolt head of the locking bolt has deteriorated making it difficult to locate and remove. In FUC-03 the locking bolt is reported as not replaced after the 1940 design.
