Well, not as : : as I am. Been following this thread to await the detail about a small motorbike carried on the back of the highly successful and first ever MBT.

I cannot for the life of me believe the British Army had such a device on their Cents and of course the word "tote" is unique to the N. American continent; it is non-existent here and would be wholly alien to us.

The only use of "tote" here is the on-course horse betting system using averaged odds and shortened to the colloquial "tote" from the official "Totaliser".
