Interesting, Gary. Any idea where it came from?
I'm asking as post-WW2 the Netherlands Air Force used registration numbers in the format LM (for Luchtmacht, or Air Force), dash, two digits, dash, two digits - see the attached photo of a fire brigade Jeep. I must add this is a bit of a long shot as in the early postwar years when CMPs were in use an earlier form of registration was used. IMG_9558.JPG IMG_9559.JPG
