Can you buy the tapered wheel bearings all day on eBay, or from assorted USA based auto supply shops?
A quick surf on eBay shows the bearings at various prices. You displayed Timken 3984: that is BB 4221 B, the inner cone and roller bearing. The same bearing is also supplied as Bower 3984. Note this is not the same bearing as the hub outer cone and roller assembly, BB 1240 A, and BB 1239 A (race) . The grease seal is BB 1175 C. This seal is now available at Macs Antique Auto for USD $4.99. Their part number 47-31970-1. It was much higher priced a short time ago.
