Default Big smile on my face...

We have been having some very nice sunny winter days lately. It was time to give the Jeep a bit of exercise. Nice little run around the neighbourhood.

Hi Wayne

Like the B&W photo gives that period feeling to the picture. Sort of hard to tell if the photo is today or just after the Jeep went into service.

I'll be out with one of my trucks later today packing down the 10 to 12 inches of snow from the over night. Frost is out of the driveway so plowing is not the first option.

Cheers Phil

Nice to get the MV out for a run pre-spring, keep the fluids moving! Great pic.

Hi Darcy. Yes its good to keep the oil moving and batteries charged. I really don't like the idea of road salt getting on my jeeps. Luckily, Im far enough from the pavement that I can do lots of driving on gravel (snow/ice) roads without needing to worry about salt. The NDCC's leave a lot to be desired as far as handling on snow though.

Phil: so far our frost is still in the ground here, but there are a few bare spots on the gravel roads that get a muddy surface in the afternoon sun. We will be thawing out in the next month, Im sure. Still lots of snow for now...

Out for a spin last weekend. The jeep is running well. Might be time to start the M37 project. Someone recently loaded me up with most of the parts I need to get it going, so I don't really have any excuses...
