not leaking on my end at least so far. While I was lucky a few years ago and picked up a rear bearing retainer to replace a smashed one. Nice to have the right seal, just remember they are old school leather and need soaking in oil.

.... take off the sheet metal tabs from the old bearing..... takes some grinding but the bolt ears are just spot welded to the seal housing. You will need to destroy the old seal but we have taken them apart at the barn successfully. You simply install the new seal with the sheet metal over it and the bolts will hold everything in place.
Almost every tranny we have done needed the Speedy sleeve. Cheers
