Peter,
Just came across this picture on the IWM collections website. It's not much of help marking wise, though  Picture taken in Italy 7 febuary 1945. NA 22176. New Zealand division. source: https://www.iwm.org.uk/collections/i...ject/205204748 According to the description it's a Daimler Scout car, but to me it looks more like a Lynx. Also interesting to see the dummy barrel on the M31 has been cut down and the frontmost bogie seems to have been replaced by a later M4 style one. Alex
