Shaun,
You have probably discovered already that Aust cans vary in size with the maker, and are different to the Canadian/British 2 gal cans. Aust can holders were dimensioned to take the larger Aust cans. Wrote an article on this some time ago called 'Fill 'er up, mate' published in Army Motors, which included a tabulated set of dimensional data for Aust cans of different makes. Mike |
