I think there is also a Mk111 in the Tank Museum at Munster in Germany, although nowhere near as complete as the one Ron has pictured in Bovington. I pass Munster about once a Month so could take measurements if you need them.
The Bovington one was in their storage hanger when I went there last year. They said they also have another one on the way from another museum. They didn’t seem terribly happy about it and referred to it as a ‘a pile of junk’! I should have offered to take it off their hands... |

I would gladly take this problem off their heads ...
The vehicle in the picture appears to be Mk II. The hull is riveted ... What do I need? At the beginning the dimensions of the armour plates that have been cut from my carrier's hull. Look at the first photos in this thread. I can take the dimensions from Mk I, Mk II or Mk III AOP, but I'm not sure if there are any differences.

If you have some dimensions I can take them to Munster and verify them against the vehicle they have there. I will next be going out to Germany in September, but I am generally out there every month. |

Hello Adam,
I will be passing the Munster tank museum on Wednesday, I can drop in and measure the required parts if you can tell me what you need. Although I have looked at a picture of the Carrier on google and it looks like a riveted hull to me. If you google Munster tank museum carrier, a picture of it comes up. Regards, Tom |

I have just been offered a rear towing spring and hitch which came from a Morris gun tractor, it may fit your Stacey towing attachment, it’s 29 inches long. The guy wants £120 for it if you’re interested?

We move forward slowly. Me and my carrier
![]() This year, I managed to get suspension components and tracks. I am still looking for many other details and I hope that at the beginning of the year I will finally be able to start renovating the hull. For now, still more ahead of me than behind me. I dont know why but I cant add any pohotos in this moment.
