I was part of the rebuild program here in Edmonton in the fall of 2006, we had Leopards all over the place, each one had to go through all of the Leo checks F1-F3, The ones that were the best were picked, quarantined, and then taken over to 1 Sve Bn , were the full MEXAS kit was added , then moved to storage in the white whale portable hanger , kit packed, then shipped....

All svc armour was reboxed and returned back to Depot. We bought only 26 complete kits, 17 kits used , with 3/4 kits sent as operational reserves. We went through a few kits as we needed spare parts to replace our damaged ones during my tour Feb-Sept 2007.

A C2 MEXAS CFR 85099 has arrived at the CWM , for display. This CFR was not deployed to Afghanistan , but is nice to see a kit survived and is fitted to a C2.
