Hi Keith,
First stage of painting the outside complete. Starting to see the end result but lots of little jobs left. Still no sign of my leather bench seats. |

Fantastic. Did you hand brush the disruptive colour ( Light Stone ) ?
BTW the RAAF used at least one those vehicles in PNG as seen in one of the AWM films .

Great job Wayne,
Very special, Australian designed type saved as well. Where did you source the camo pattern? (This is not a loaded question) Just interested... that's all

Thanks for the kind words guys
![]() The disruptive colour was matched from a sample off the doors. I don't know the name but it is a perfect match from the factory. First seeing it in the paint can was a eyebrow raising moment but now on the truck with the green I think it looks just fine. I did cheat Mike and sprayed it on, masked it then sprayed, very even coat, maybe too even... The pattern comes from chalk marks I did from my original vehicle, Rod D's roof section and old photos. My lines matched up very close to one original photo I had so I filled in the missing lines on the rear roof section from the available Ford photos. Hi Hanno, very rare vehicle to have survived, there are a couple of others around in bits or part there of Never know what some people have hidden away in sheds. Wayne |
