Default Fantastic

Great job Wayne,

Very special, Australian designed type saved as well.

Where did you source the camo pattern? (This is not a loaded question)

Just interested... that's all

Default painting

Thanks for the kind words guys

The disruptive colour was matched from a sample off the doors. I don't know the name but it is a perfect match from the factory. First seeing it in the paint can was a eyebrow raising moment but now on the truck with the green I think it looks just fine.

I did cheat Mike and sprayed it on, masked it then sprayed, very even coat, maybe too even...

The pattern comes from chalk marks I did from my original vehicle, Rod D's roof section and old photos. My lines matched up very close to one original photo I had so I filled in the missing lines on the rear roof section from the available Ford photos.

Hi Hanno, very rare vehicle to have survived, there are a couple of others around in bits or part there of
Never know what some people have hidden away in sheds.

Default seats

The seats were finished this week and have been fitted.
Dark brown leather with brass eyelets, upholster did very well
from the few available photos.
Now need to get the leather strap supports made.

Odd thing is now the truck has that "new car smell".

Black and white is the Ford, colour is my Chev with pleated seats.

Default radiator blind

Found these parts of the radiator blind for the Chev, looking for a photo/sample of what the finished item looked like or worked.
Cheers, Wayne

Default Wayne's Wonder Bus (WWB)

Really outstanding job, Wayne.

Missed the seat image from last year until now: I assume the seats lay back to make a flat 'bed' like the original. Have you made the strap supports as yet?

The radiator blind is an interesting improvement on the clip-on version.

A really useful truck.

Mike

Yes Mike, has the folding seats, map light and dome light, still working on more internal parts and then all that canvas...
