That is definitely the Ford pattern coolant recovery tank.
The Chevrolet tank is shaped somewhat like a gallon paint can and was first mounted on the left nose side over the fender, later below the left toeboard of the cab.
I know people have made visual facsimilies of the Chevrolet tank, has anyone got experience making functioning replicas of the Chevrolet tanks? I think I'm going to have to make at least one of each pattern (side and under cab - the difference is orientation of parts as they are assembled, parts are basically the same).
