So apparently the head is cracked on the number one cylinder. It doesn’t sound to be repairable.
Hopefully someone has one

Cylinder head
Hi Jordan,
A friend of mine knows someone that has a 1936 Chevrolet pickup. He is putting in a GMC 302. He is checking for me to see if the original engine is available. I will let you know. Paul
