Well David, tell that to FedEx. I had a shipment come to me as an empty and torn open box without explanation
It was a hell of a time trying to sort out who needed to pay who for that one.

After no help on line, I took the empty box and pics of the projectile down to their warehouse in WPG. and I caught the attention of a very helping lady who said she would investigate. She found the projectile , which had fallen out of the poorly packed box in Markam, sitting in their locked room for similar items. I had it a day later. Just last week I used Purlator again to ship a complete 17 pdr. round, received no problem. A nice ending. Rob

So, so not much of a "theft" per se rather than a crappy packing job...
I just received damaged goods from a seller due to his packing job. Must just be me, but I always overkill the shipping container to make sure any of my buyers goods arrive in the same way as I send them ![]() Such a shame, too, especially when sending odd or rare items

I sent an 8cwt rim to the prairie. To save weight it wasn’t packed at all. I wrote the address on the rim with marker and Purolator attached their label. All that was said was that Purolator wouldn’t be responsible for damage during shipping. James received his rim With no problems.
