Dear New friends its Hummer
Thanks for al the advice. ![]() My carrier is a Ford Uc-2 from 1943 I any one have a idea where to get an new speedometer cable I will be pleased Here is som link to my dropbox. Maybe have a chat with these http://www.speedograph-richfield.com I have seen the work wonders on a friends scammell speedometer. But they where not cheap Cheers Niels Did you get the sms with the wireless set pictures, otherwise have a look around on this site and you find what you where looking for

Hi Hummer,
The outer length is approx 3160 mm and is a flexible 5/8" dia. outer casing. See there is an extra wrap for protection at the Diff end. See attached pictures, showing the speedo end and the diff end, along with the two securing metal clips. The inner is easy enough to determine, as it would probably protrude about 1/2'' and the end will be squared off to suit your speedo and the drive gear from the diff has also a key that slots into your gear The inner is normally secured with a crimped clip , back from the protruding end on each one, I might need another look in my parts to find a picture of the inner for you ,cheers Andrew.

Here's are pictures of the bottom end of an early Brit. U.Carrier speedo cable.
Note the thrust washer. The armour is located in the hole at the lower end.
