Yes, it does seem like it's 849 that is marked on the motorcycle, and some of the trucks. The question is are those trucks and motorcycles of the 45th General Transport Company? We're looking to find some confirmation that these vehicles and photos are of the 45th by confirming that 849 is indeed the 45th's tac sign in documentation, war diary, etc.
