I agree with Niels.....it does look a lot like a SBG bridge carrier.

does anyone know the source of this picture.......and if there is a bigger version of this picture available on the web?

Hi Rob,
About 30 years ago, I bought a copy of that photo taken from the original negative, along with a couple more from another nearby village from a guy with a stall at a local show. When magnified there is a lot of detail in them. This collection that you linked to now belong to Rex Cadman under the War & Peace name.
I have driven my Bedford QL down that street many times.

Thanks for the source and additional info. Lovely to see a rare picture of an F60H in action.....and also good to see another example of the census number on the doors painted at an angle!

by the way....amazing to see that the street hasn't changed a bit!

That looks a lot like the Trestle and Sliding bay body(?). One of a million bodies used for Bridging.
