Caption: “Liberation of Paris, France. August 1944. Photographer: Joe Scherschel”
The C8A is marked “radio Canada”. Does that mean it is a truck of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation? F0EB9316-EDEC-4D8E-B745-8BB87255A429.jpeg Thanks to Guy Verstrepen for bringing this to my attention

Radio Canada is the French language arm of the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation.

Note the Press Jeep in front of the C8A; the liberation of Paris was very newsworthy and was covered by a number of Canadian press organizations including the Film and Photo Unit.
