If I had to guess, I would think there will be a similar one at the back. It will have been to run a pipe through so the water wouldn't pool in the center of the trailer tarp. The loop in it does look very well made though, and I don't really see any holes in the other end that would match the positioning for another support.
It is a nice looking trailer overall. Hope it goes to a good home. Last edited by rob love; 07-10-20 at 13:59.
