I remember a word used in a conversation with an old time Canadian trucker. The correct pronunciation for that part is, 'ruxle'. Which rhymes with Bruxxel.
BTW, I am impressed that the designers kept a sound piece of commercial technology for driving at highway speed rather than attempting to shoehorn in the more predictable 4x4 component of a transfer case behind the transmission.
