Humber Scout engine question
What exactly is behind the slats at the rear of the vehicle. I know inside the engine compartment this is the location of the rad, but what is in front of this, other than a light armoured wall. Is there opening, maybe screened, to allow air circulation through those slats?

Hello Richard, that's right on, thank you for the diagram.
So a second set of louvers, and these look to have a curved profile. Don't suppose you have any measurements? regards, Jack

Interesting question because it speaks to the amount of protection on the rear of the vehicle. I know the square root of bugger all about this design, so I'm learning too.

My former Humber Scout MK II, just opening to draw air into the engine compartment. This is not the original radiator, but info taken from other ones to try and make it close as possible.

Hello Issah, thanks kindly for the 'bucket' load of photos.
I'm working on the 1:35 scale Bronco model, and now with the members help, along with paying more attention to the rear, it does seem the exterior armoured louver cover does require some correction. In photos it appears bulkier, and compared to this line drawing I'd say a good 25% more: regards, Jack
