Thanks Dave, I'll add those images to my reference file. Do people with original carbs find that the governor interferes with driving? Another Carrier owner on the forum says his used to limit turning ability until he adjusted it.

If Alberta is at all like Manitoba, the snow is gone. I was actually out today in the field looking to see if the crocus were up yet and am considering if it's too early to put the HMMWV back on the road.

If you put the original carb on a 95 HP engine , then you will get problems with a too thin fuel mixture. This is easy to solve by putting in the jets from a GMC CCKW zenith carb , then you have a match again with with the cubic inches from the 95hp engine .

Thanks Maurice.

I don't think I have an original Carrier engine, as the engine number had been ground off. How do I tell if it is a 95hp engine? Was this a larger capacity than the original Carrier engine?
