Default Wireless operator

Here is the restorer happy as can be to have everything working ! i am feeding the No 19 on battery no 2 . Next test is feeding the radio with battery No 1 while charging battery No 2 with one of the Chorehorses ( upper-lower) in the charger compartment and then alternate the batteries and chargers . I expect some noise in the headsets and maybe interference on the frequencies but we never know the grounding might help.We must not forget that only the post war Chorehorsed were suppressed .

It should be on the installation drawings?

I'm assuming it uses Leads, Aerial, No.3 and that is secured to the front wall and roof of the body with a suitable number of 'P' clips. (A spare cable (No.2 or No.3) and Aerial Base No.9A will probably be included in the CES for demounted use.)

Best regards,
Chris.

Followed your advice Chris and used 3 «*p*» clips to run the no 11 coax cable along the wall . Thanks .

Default Remote mast antenna

I was thinking of using a remote antenna mast a little bit away from the truck . Found some literature on the subject and started a thread in the wireless section. Items No 35 & 37 catch my interest : Leads aerial no 3 & No 5 . Any background ,info or advice ?
