Ted, if you go to the CWH museum website, you will note that this is not going to happen!
Apparently the RAF had put in a formal request to have the Lanc appear in Britain. The CWH group put forward their proposition as far as cost went and it was up to the RAF to come up with funding by a certain date, which they did not meet. It is unfortunate but reality I suppose.
