Default Belive there is an early thread

Hi

I'm pretty sure there is an earlier thread on MLU about Serial Number locations. That included example locations and photographs. Along with discussion about various efforts to make up list of surviving vehicles.

Some where so lightly stamped apparently even light surface rust would obscure or obliterate the numbers. My personal belief is that numbers never got stamped on a lot of trucks.
