Would it be possible to find information on an Iltis BI01-11-84-86115, CFR 86115?

Or CFR 86454 ?

I would really appreciate any information available.

Thanks!

Default Iltis CFR Info

Iltis 86115 was delivered in February 1985 and disposed out of CFB Petawawa in November 2001. Iltis 86454 was delivered in January 1986 and disposed out of CFB Borden in February 2002.

I suspect 52-30105 is the CFR for a M38CDN. I can confirm that there is no record for the M38CDN although 98-30105 is a LAV III APC CP Variant A 3.25 Steering.

Default Anything still in the system for 48513?

It's a G-Wagon. Looks like it experienced some minor side collision but got cashiered anyway. Museum has it now.

Default M38A1CDN Jeeps

Here you go Wayne,

08321 was a M38A1CDN2 with winch that was sold out of CFB Wainwright in September 1987.

08814 was a M38A1CDN3 that was sold out of CFB Calgary in February 1987.

The 1967 delivery CDN2 series was probably the most common 'on the floor' during my reserve service. The CDN3s were later and less numerous. The 1953 CDN1s were all gone by 1976.

The w/winch was definitely less numerous. Although there were a few soldiers trusted to use the winch, for the most part it was just a heavy lump on the front end and an extra internal lever.
