The number on the tag has been obscured but it seems to be.. CT17__3, or CT19__3. The unit is a Stewart Warner, 675-E, and also J-8. Tag say LV7 FORD, Ford Canada. Adaptor, speedometer.
It appears that you are correct Grant, its for a two speed axle. Using your information I found a similar unit on EBay. Thanks for your help. Last edited by Bob Phillips; 12-03-22 at 14:30. |

Based on the CT prefix, my guess would be a carrier part but a quick look in FUC-02 and FUC-03 parts books didn't find a part number matching those given (just saying I didn't see them, not that they can't be there).
I don't claim any great knowledge of carriers, but my understanding is that they had single speed axles so shouldn't need the change speed function. 2 speed axles suggest conventional, modified conventional or 2 wheel drive CMP of the Ford models I can think of. |

The Windsor Carrier has a two speed axle and has a similar unit mounted on the axle,
