A very fun day
My daughter arranged a flight for me in the CWM Tiger Moth, a BCATP staple. I made good today.
Once I expressed an interest in the mechanics of it I got a cowl off tour of the engine. Well, just wow!!!

Wife says choose one or the other..... Oh, and my Moth pilot (an otherwise Airbus pilot) referred to the Tiger Moths as 'almost an ultra lite'. That slight notwithstanding we did get along and he did express interest in a Bren carrier ride.

Aircraft rides
It's a great experience and even better on a warm day. Did your pilot show you a slide slip to reduce speed before landing? I've only had one Tiger Moth flight but it was memorable.
The inverted Gypsy engine is interesting too - an unmistakable sound. Quote:
