Army Ambulance Company (3rd) based in Kavanagh St. South Melbourne, they were using a few of the ex-refugee Austin K2/Y vehicles. There is another pic of the unit workshop in South Melb. showing a K2/Y in the garage. https://www.awm.gov.au/collection/C15652 The unit war diary is online: no mention of the vehicles unfortunately .
