Dave Mottram R.I.P.
I was very saddened to hear of his passage a fortnight ago.
He was a true gentleman and was one of the first people I met when I joined the VMVC in 1991. He immediately got me interested to learn as much about my vehicle as I could, starting with explaining to me why US 16" military tyres do not fit British wheels. I never stop trying to learn as much as I can, because he lit the spark.
