David: This should hopefully help you out. The biggest dilemma you will have is finding the colour you would like to have matched! Once you have that sample, go to Cloverdale Paint. You have 2 choices. 740 Nairn Ave 204 958-5450 or 1449 Chevrier Blvd Unit B 204 958-5420.
They will match your colour there to your approval, in any product or finish. Now....the Nairn Ave Store will manufacture your product in "solvent" based cans. You will have to purchase a minimum of 6 cans, plus a gallon of the paint, plus the 6 cans (minimum). You get about 12 spray bombs from 1 gallon of paint. The remaining paint is returned to you, if you don't use it. If you are swayed over to water based paint (waterborne enamels are great), go to the Chevrier Store, where they will make it in single spray bombs, plus the paint (1 litre), plus the spray can(s). I had this done (solvent) a lot of years ago for the late Lorne Ertl, in Olive Drab Green. Lorne really really liked the product and colour. If you have any problems, drop me a PM or contact me through this entry. The girl at Nairn gave me a price of around $13.00 a can....but don't quote me! If your smart and you know a painting contractor, use their account to get wholesale. Keep us all posted Robert
